Itinerary

Welcome Orientation: Upon arrival in Colombo, you’ll be greeted by our Eduventure team. We’ll hold a brief orientation to introduce you to the programme and provide essential information about Sri Lanka.
City Tour: Begin your journey with a guided tour of Colombo, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face Green, and Independence Square

Visit to Anuradhapura: Travel to Anuradhapura, an ancient city and UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore historical sites such as the Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanwelisaya, and the Jetavanaramaya.
Architectural Workshop: Participate in a workshop on traditional Sri Lankan architecture, focusing on the use of local materials and craftsmanship.

Visit to Kandy: Travel to Kandy, a cultural capital and UNESCO World Heritage site.
City Tour: Explore Kandy, visiting the Temple of the Tooth, Kandy Lake, and the Royal Botanic Gardens.
Design Firm Visit: Visit a leading architectural firm in Kandy to learn about contemporary architectural projects and urban planning in Sri Lanka.

Eco-Friendly Building Tour: Explore an eco-friendly building project in Colombo to understand sustainable architecture practices in Sri Lanka.
Sustainability Seminar: Attend a seminar on sustainable architecture, focusing on the integration of traditional techniques with modern sustainable practices.

Travel to Galle: Travel to Galle, a historic city known for its colonial architecture and UNESCO World Heritage site, Galle Fort.
City Tour: Explore Galle Fort, visiting landmarks such as the Dutch Reformed Church, Galle Lighthouse, and the Maritime Archaeology Museum.
Heritage Design Workshop: Participate in a workshop on heritage design, focusing on the preservation and adaptation of historical buildings.

Visit to Sigiriya: Travel to Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient rock fortress.

Farewell: Say goodbye to your fellow participants and the Eduventure team, taking with you the knowledge and memories gained during your time in Sri Lanka.
